Racine police welcomes newest officer, K-9 Blue

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Police Department has a new member of the force. K-9 Officer Blue was introduced by the department on Facebook on Thursday, Aug. 22. 

According to the post, K-9 Blue is a 14-month-old Belgian Malinois. He's a dual purpose K-9 in firearms detection and patrol. 

K-9 Blue and his handler Officer Z. Kuiper will be on patrol together on the road -- known as "K91."
