RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo has seasonal events planned in the coming months to offer wintertime fun.
Beth Heidorn and Abby Flores of the Racine Zoo joined us on Monday, Dec. 30 to preview what's ahead, and they even brought a scaly friend!
Winter Picnic in a Snow Globe runs on some Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays through Feb. 2025. Guests can reserve heated domes for 90-minute time slots, enjoying food, drinks and an animal encounter. Domes accommodate up to eight people and packages are customizable.
Brrr Garden takes place on Saturday, Feb. 1 allowing guests can sample craft beers and food while enjoying views of Lake Michigan from the Safari Base Camp Pavilion. The event runs from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and includes a Racine Zoo beer glass and general admission.
Animal Amoré is a Valentine’s Day event on Friday, Feb. 14 that will include champagne, an open bar, dinner and a presentation on animal mating habits. The event is for adults 21 and older, with tickets priced at $120 for couples or $70 for individuals. Proceeds benefit the zoo.
