Racine Zoo to host 'Party for the Planet' ahead of Earth Day

RACINE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Racine Zoo is hosting 'Party for the Planet' on Saturday, April 20. 

The Racine Zoo is partnering with the Association of Zoo and Aquariums (AZA) to put on the celebration.

According to the zoo, there will be Earth Day themed games, crafts, and events. 

The zoo is also hosting a cleanup of Zoo Beach from 8:00-9:00 a.m. and are giving away goodie bags as a thank you for participants. 

Through Appril 20-21, the zoo will also be running an upcycle drive, in partnership with USAgain.  They will be collecting used clothes, shoes, bedding and more to be donated and recycled.
