MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Reagan High School is celebrating the completion of a big athletic facilities project on Friday, Sept. 27.
MPS leaders came to the school to speak to students and staff, and to cut the ribbon on a new gym, fitness center, tennis courts and playing fields.
A student athlete says it's been exciting to see the change.
"I feel like Reagan's a really good school, like, educational-wise and the students numbers and everything, and having this environment now and the building and the resources makes it even better for us," said Araceli Gonzales, senior.
Along with athletics, there are new science lab rooms and an outdoor classroom.
A student told CBS 58 that one of their favorite additions is air conditioning.
