MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are asking for the public's help to identify a suspect wanted in connection with a shooting that happened near 12th and Highland. 

The shooting occurred on Nov. 6 around 12:26 a.m. 

According to police, the suspect is described as a Black male in his 30s, standing approximately 5'11", and last seen wearing a multi-colored bucket hat, a green jacket and gray pants. He was armed with a handgun. 

The suspect fired shots at the victim and fled on foot.
