Red Cross providing food, water and shelter to Menasha community in tornado aftermath

MENASHA, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Red Cross of Wisconsin has quickly set up relief efforts in Menasha, and obviously, the need is great. 

They set up a reception center at a local church Monday, July 27, and it wasn't long before they needed an overnight shelter. 

Executive Director Rebecca Rockhill tells us 38 people spent the night at the shelter, and Red Cross volunteers have been busy. 

"Today we have had lots of individuals who are coming and going to receive and pick up water, snacks, we have hot food here," Rockhill said. "People just looking to find out resources. It's just been phenomenal to be able to be here."

Rockhill says if you'd like to help, the best way to do it is by donating money.
