Rendezvous with French culture at Bastille Days 2024 in Milwaukee
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- "Nuit de folie!" The Bastille Days festival will return July 11 - 14, bringing a festive French flair to Cathedral Square Park.
The event, organized by the East Town Association, includes the popular Storm the Bastille 5K Run/Walk, starting on Thursday, July 11 at 9 p.m.
Festivalgoers can enjoy a variety of food, musical acts and performances throughout the four-day event.
The Madison Medical Bastille Days Marketplace will host street performers, fortune tellers and henna artists. The Educators Credit Union Main Stage and other stages will feature over 60 musical acts, including headliners such as Extra Crispy Brass Band and Sneezy.
Kids Day on Saturday, July 13 will include activities like a beignet breakfast and performances from the Milwaukee Ballet. Wine tastings from Door Peninsula Winery will be available, along with returning food vendors like Beignets Français and Lake Park Bistro.
Also, be prepared to enjoy time celebrating all-things French as Bastille Days hits just weeks before the 2024 Olympics in Paris take place.
