A boost in temperatures despite the lack of sunshine
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A recent report revealed that home sales in the Milwaukee area were down 33% in January, while home prices saw an increase of 9.5%.
The Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors releases a monthly report detailing home buying and selling activity in the area.
Angela Walters, the Chairperson for the Greater Milwaukee Association of Realtors board of directors and owner of Walters Realty Group at EXP Realty, joined us on Monday, Feb. 20 to discuss the results.
She provided insights on January's home buying and selling activity in the area, including the impact of the decrease in home sales and whether it signaled a buyer's market.
Walters also outlined the steps sellers should take to ensure a successful sale in a market where prices are up, along with tips on creating a positive first impression and making a home more attractive to potential buyers.
