Reports: Fox Lake officer committed suicide

There are reports out of Chicago tonight that Fox Lake Police Officer Joe Gliniewicz, the man whose death prompted a days long manhunt, may have taken his own life.

CBS Chicago is citing sources close to the investigation.Gliniewicz was found dead in a remote area on the morning of September 1st. He had radioed in a short time before that he was in pursuit of three men. His death was initially investigated as a homicide. Lake County Sheriff's officials said on Tuesday that they plan to hold a news conference Wednesday morning.
