MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Red Cross says they're providing assistance to two people following a fire in a 40-unit apartment on Milwaukee's east side.
The building near Kane and Oakland was evacuated around 7:30 a.m. Monday, July 25.
The Milwaukee Fire Department says the fire was contained to a single apartment.
One person was taken to the hospital with injuries.
The rest of the building was damaged from smoke and water.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
