Results of Milwaukee's dockless scooter pilot study report released

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Dockless scooters filled the streets of Milwaukee during 2019 and 2021. It was during those years that three companies -- Bird, Lime and Spin -- participated in a pilot study to learn if people would use the electric scooters and find them beneficial.

Well, the results are in. In 2019, there were more than 350,000 rides, and that increased to 481,000 rides in 2021.

Seventy percent of respondents want the scooters to return permanently, although there were concerns of traffic accidents involving scooters and people riding on sidewalks.

It's a comprehensive report. To read the whole thing, click here
