Rumors whirl Brewers will change their logo next season; team responds

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Milwaukee Brewers have responded to reports about a change in their look for next season. 

You may have read stories suggesting the team may change its primary logo and move it to something that looks like the popular old ball-in-glove logo.

CBS 58 asked the team about it on Tuesday, Oct. 29 and the Brewers sent us the following statement: 

"We have many plans for our 50th anniversary year, significant initiatives that we expect will add excitement for our fans and partners. More news on our 50th celebration activities will be coming in the coming months. In the meantime, we suggest that everyone stay tuned for more details."

In other words, they didn't say no but did not confirm anything either.
