MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- We got an interesting perspective on Giannis Antetokounmpo's potential trade situation Monday, from a former Milwaukee Brewer. 

Award-winning player Ryan Braun spent his entire 14-year career in Milwaukee, even though he, like Giannis, was the subject of trade speculation at times. 

Braun's situation was not identical, but in an interview Monday, when asked about Giannis trade rumors, Braun talked about how he felt about that during his career. 

"You know, as I got later in my career, my top priority was my family and they loved being in Milwaukee," Braun said. "My two older kids started school there, so the comfort and familiarity that they had with the community, and the city was incredibly important to me. So, I look back and I'm incredibly grateful that things worked out the way that they did."

Time will tell whether Giannis is indeed traded or he finishes his career in a Bucks uniform.
