MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Saint Kate Artist in Residence Julia Bradfish joined us on Monday, July 20 to talk about her work, which begins as collages made from magazine and newspaper clippings before being transformed into layered oil paintings.
Bradfish discussed her creative process from inspiration to finished painting and how her role at Saint Kate, including interactions with hotel guests throughout the year, has shaped her work and inspired new artistic perspectives.
She brought a recent painting along with a 3D collage model to show her process.
