Salvation Army to serve free water at Wisconsin State Fair

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Volunteers with the Salvation Army will be pouring and handing out cups of cold water for free at State Fair.

The Salvation Army says serving the water is an opportunity to say thank you to those who support their year-round programs.

The organization will be serving the water each day of the fair from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. at their hydration station, which is located east of the Exposition Center. For a map of the grounds, please click here.

The Salvation Army will also have a red kettle on site to collect donations.

About 82,000 cups of water were passed out at the fair in 2017.
