Packers select offensive lineman Jordan Morgan in 1st round of NFL Draft

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- The Green Bay Packers have selected offensive lineman Jordan Morgan out of the University of Arizona in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Morgan bounced back from a torn ACL late in 2022 to become an all-Pac 12 selection in 2023. He's described in his draft profile as a capable run blocker and pass protector with upside.

Before Morgan, the Packers hadn't drafted an offensive lineman in the first round since 2010 and 2011, when they selected Bryan Bulaga and Derek Sherrod.

The second and third round of the NFL Draft happens Friday, with the final four rounds to follow early Saturday.
