Santa coming to Southridge Mall starting November 11

GREENDALE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- With Christmas just around the corner, Santa is coming to town.

Starting Saturday, November 11, Santa will be at Southridge Mall available to visit with families and take photos. Families can also save time and avoid lines by reserving a time online at simonsanta.com. Santa will be at the mall up until December 24 in the center court.

Southridge Mall is also giving children with special needs and their families an opportunity to enjoy the holiday tradition through a sensory-friendly Caring Santa event in partnership with Autism Speaks. Caring Santa is on Sunday, December 3, from 7:30-9 a.m., prior to the mall opening. Guests can register in advance at simon.com/caringsanta.

For local pet owners, the popular Pet Photo Nights with Santa will occur on Sunday, December 10, from 8-10 p.m.

The mall is also announcing they will have extended shopping hours, offer gift wrapping service during select hours, and will showcase local community groups in its annual holiday concert series. Southridge Mall will also host a Giving Tree for the Salvation Army, where shoppers can select an Angel Tag, buy a gift for a Milwaukee-area child in need, and put it in the giant gift box by the Giving Tree.
