Update as of 11:45 a.m. Monday, December 23rd...

Great news!  The ice threat looks less and less for this afternoon.  But wintry mix is still a possibility.  Road conditions should be fine but still use caution if heading out to do shopping or perhaps going to the Packers game set for 7:15 pm.

Update as of 8:45 a.m. Monday, December 23rd...

Most of the Winter Weather Advisory has been dropped for our area except Sheboygan and Fond du Lac Counties.  It goes from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. So obviously it's a later start now.  A wintry mix could accumulate slightly as well.  But please watch the roads, bridges, and overpasses.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58)--Lots of people out and about to start this holiday week.  And of course the weather doesn't look perfect.  In fact, we could see some tricky travel throughout the day in terms of a wintry mix and mess, mainly light freezing rain and drizzle.  This could make for slick spots, especially on the bridges and overpasses.  Please use lots of caution today.  We'll have a Winter Weather Advisory in place most of the day too.  The weather quiets down into the middle of the week.  Look for a big warmup as well.  In fact, temps could be near 50 by the end of the week.  There could be a bit of drizzle by Wednesday and then a better chance of rain showers Friday and into the weekend.
