Score free beer and other local deals by showing your Covid-19 vaccination card

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) --- You may have heard about free Krispy Kreme donuts by showing your Covid-19 vaccination card, but how about free beer?

Local businesses are offering free stuff by showing you have been vaccinated.

Black Husky Brewing wants to see you "prost to your dose". If you show your vaccination record card, you can get one free beer on the house.

"Come on in, get a free beer, bring a friend," Black Husky Brewing co-owner and brewer Tim Eichinger said. "Ask a friend when are you going to get your vaccine? I think that’s just really important to do."

Up-Down Milwaukee is also offering a gift for those who got their vaccination. The popular arcade bar in Milwaukee is offering 20 free tokens if you come in after your final dose. They say if you already got your final dose, you can come in now through April 12.

If you are still waiting to receive your vaccine, don't worry. The offer is available all summer long.

"We're trying to get all of our staff involved with getting vaccinated at some point or another. We're not forcing anyone to do it obviously, but just kind of encouraging it. So we're just hopefully trying to encourage the public to do the same," said Peter Barlean, assistant general manager.

You can show your card up to 21 days after your final dose to collect your tokens. 

"We are grateful to everyone for taking this important step to protect the community and help Up-Down return to normal. We look forward to enjoying good times with you soon," Up-Down wrote on Facebook.

Up-Down Milwaukee requires masks when you're not eating or drinking and they have social distance policies in place.

Shawarma House is also offering an incentive for your vaccination. They are offering 15% off to vaccinated customers if you show your record card. Shawarma House, a middle eastern cuisine restaurant, is located in Milwaukee and Brookfield. 

The Iron Horse Hotel is giving guests and locals who get their shot - a shot! When you show your vaccine sticker or card, the hotel will pour you a free shot in Branded Bar. 

"You deserve a little perk for your prick," the Milwaukee hotel posted on Facebook. "A shot in the arm of Iron Horse love." 

Dorsia is offering 25% off to customers who show their vaccination cards. The Italian restaurant is located on Milwaukee's East Side. 

"We will be gifting our vaccinated customers 25% off your total bill; all you have to do is show your server your vaccination card," the restaurant wrote on Facebook. "This promotion doesn’t apply to our usual happy hour specials, but we would still love to see you!"
