MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You won't miss them! There will be dozens of art pieces on display in downtown Milwaukee this summer.
"We're here today to acknowledge that sculpture Milwaukee has been a success," said Beth Weirick, CEO of Milwaukee Downtown
It happens every year. World renowned sculptures popping up right in the heart of downtown. Sculpture Milwaukee is the face behind this, continuing to promote community engagement through art.
"We invite all who live, work and visit Milwaukee to experience and embrace the feelings and reactions of the exhibition," Brian Schupper said. He is Sculpture Milwaukee's executive director.
This year's new exhibition is called "Nature Doesn't Know About Us."
"It's organic and contemplative, it leans into the unique urban setting downtown Milwaukee offers," Schupper said.
Sculpture Milwaukee will have more than 30 sculptures on display this summer. It hopes the art pieces can spark conversations and connections.
