Select Pick 'n Save stores offering free fruit for children while parents shop

Southeast, WI (CBS 58) -- Pick 'n Save is currently testing a "free fruit for children" at select stores.

According to a spokesperson for Pick 'n Save, this allows parents to give their children a healthy treat while they are shopping. So, instead of giving away free cookie samples at the bakery, fresh fruit is being substituted as a healthier alternative.

There are currently 21 stores in Wisconsin participating in the "free fruit for children."

Locations participating include the ones in West Allis, Oak Creek, New Berlin, Franklin, Cudahy, Kenosha, and others. Just look for the sign when you walk in!
