Several drivers injured after multi-vehicle crash involving MCTS bus
CBS 58 MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS) bus was involved in multi-vehicle crash near Fond du Lac and Center on Tuesday, Dec. 17.
Police say just before 7 a.m., a MCTS bus traveling eastbound on Fond du Lac Avenue struck a vehicle also traveling eastbound. Three more vehicles were involved in the crash as a result of the bus and first vehicle colliding.
The driver of the bus, a 38-year-old, was injured and conveyed to a local hospital for treatment.
A passenger on the bus in their late 50's, was also injured and transported to treatment.
The drivers of three other vehicles involved were all taken to the hospital for treatment.
One driver was not transported.
The circumstances that led up to the crash remain under investigation.
