TOWN OF BURLINGTON, Wis. (CBS 58) – Several people are seriously hurt after a crash in Racine County Thursday night.
It happened in the Town of Burlington around 9 p.m. near Durand Ave. and English Settlement Ave.
Authorities say a pickup truck ran a stop sign and was hit by a minivan. People in both cars were seriously hurt and taken to the hospital by Flight for Life.
The sheriff’s office says the woman who was driving the van and her male passenger are from Racine County. The woman driving the truck is from Illinois.
Flight for Life posted on Facebook Friday morning saying a drone interfered at the scene of the crash. The company is asking everyone to stay away from emergency scenes.
The area where the crash happened was shut down for around five hours.
