Several Shootings Occur Over Night in Milwaukee
Several shootings occurred in Milwaukee from Wednesday night into Thursday morning.
The first shooting occurred on Wednesday, at about 10:15 PM, in the area of 3600 W. Thurston. Officers responded to the report of a car accident.
Upon arrival, it was discovered that a 67-year-old male was suffering from a gunshot wound. Officers attempted CPR which was taken over by the Milwaukee Fire Department. Despite the life-saving efforts the victim died from his injuries.
At about 1:30 AM officers responded to the report of a double shooting in the area of 10700 W. Appleton Ave.
Officers arrived to find an adult female and an adult male both suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts both victims died at the scene.
The victims in the December 8 homicide in the 10700 block of W. Appleton Avenue are identified as a 38-year-old Milwaukee woman and a 36-year-old Milwaukee man.
At about 3:40 AM Milwaukee police responded to yet another call of a double shooting. Responding officers discovered a 34 year old male who was shot and unresponsive. Unfortunately the male victim died on the scene.
The preliminary investigation in the December 8 shooting in the 6700 block of N. 52nd Street has revealed the 34-year-old man shot the 32-year-old woman before he shot and killed himself. The female victim was treated for her injuries at a local hospital.
A 32 year-old female was found to be suffering from a non-fatal gunshot wound. She was conveyed to a local hospital where she is being treated and expected to survive.
