'She was a trailblazer'; Margaret Farrow, Wisconsin's 1st female lieutenant governor, passes away

(CBS 58) -- Former Lt. Governor Margaret Farrow has passed away. 

A statement from her son, Waukesha County Executive Paul Farrow, announced the news Tuesday, March 8. 

Paul said she passed away resting peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones. 

"She was a trailblazer," he wrote in a statement. 

Farrow was the first female Lt. Governor in Wisconsin history. 

She was 87 years old.
