Sheboygan Police: 2 facing charges of obstruction after child, 4, bit by dog

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Two people are facing charges of obstruction after a dog bite over the weekend.

The Sheboygan Police Department investigated a dog bite that they were told occurred at King Park around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday.

Several people came forward with tips that helped police to determine that the attack did not happen in King Park, but rather at a home in the 1500 block of S. 8th Street.

The owner of the dog along with the child's father told police that the attack occurred in the park.

The owner and the father will both be facing charges of criminal obstruction.

The owner was also cited for failing to obtain a dog license.

Sheboygan Police would like to thank the public with their help in this investigation.
