Shots Fired From Outside Milwaukee Home Injure Resident Inside

A 55-year-old Milwaukee man was shot while inside his own home a little after 8 PM Monday. According to the Milwaukee Police Department, several gunshots were fired in the alley behind the man’s home near N 15th Street and W North Avenue. One of the rounds passed through the walls of the building and struck the man. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of his wound. The man is expected to be okay. MPD is continuing to search for the shooters and is attempting to determine a motive for the incident.
