BUTLER, Wis. (CBS 58) — A Silver Alert has been issued for a 70-year-old woman who reportedly walked away from a vehicle outside a Butler Kwik Trip on Saturday.

The Butler Police Department is searching for Clariece Griggs.

Griggs is described as a Black woman who is about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs approximately 170 pounds. She has brown eyes and short gray hair.

Police say she was last seen wearing a zip-up ski jacket with stripes, blue jeans and tennis shoes.

Griggs was last seen at the Kwik Trip on West Arden Place in Butler. Family members told authorities she arrived at the store with them and remained inside the vehicle while they went into the convenience store.

She reportedly got out of the vehicle and was last seen walking northbound.

Family members say Griggs has dementia and may be disoriented.
