Six Flags Great American hosting events to hire 3,000 workers

GURNEE, Ill. (CBS 58) -- Six Flags Great America is hosting hiring events over the next few weeks to employee thousands for the 2019 season.

3,000 jobs need to be filled with roles ranging from operating rides and attractions, Culinary Services, Lifeguards for Hurricane Harbor and more.

Six Flags has been named the world's largest regional theme park company and the largest operator of waterparks in North America.

Employee perks include free admission to all Six Flags Parks, flexible hours, and each position starts at $9.00 per hour or more.

Hiring events will happen on Saturday, February 16 and Saturdays, March 2 and 23. Each event will happen from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
