Six Flags hiring over 3,000 seasonal workers

GURNEE, Ill. (CBS 58) -- Six Flags Great America is hiring over 3,000 seasonal team members. Positions range from entry-level to leadership positions including paid internships. All seasonal positions start at a minimum of $9 per hour or above, earning team members 75 cents above minimum wage in Illinois and $1.75 above minimum wage in Wisconsin.

Job fairs are scheduled for Saturday, February 24 and Saturday, March 10 & 24.

Candidates are encouraged to apply online at www.sixflagsjobs.com prior to arriving, but walk-ins are welcome. The hiring events take place at Six Flags Great America from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Six Flags employees receive free park admission, private employee events, reward programs and pay checks every week.

College students can also apply to one of the many internships at the park. The internships provide valuable, real-world experiences, plus flexible scheduling to fit students’ class schedules.
