Skimming Device Discovered Inside a Gas Pump in Ozaukee County

The Ozaukee County Sheriff's Office is reminding people to look before you swipe your credit card at the gas pump.

A credit card skimmer was found on a gas pump in the Village of Belgium.

The Sheriff's Office says several customers told gas station employees the credit card device wasn't working.

Deputies say the skimmer was installed inside the pump so customers couldn't see it.

The Ozaukee County Sheriff's asks that if you are a victim in this case, please review your records immediately and report any fraudulent activity to your banking institution and to the Sheriff's Office.
