Shooting injures 23-year-old in South Milwaukee, woman in custody

SOUTH MILWAUKEE, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Authorities are investigating a shooting that injured a 23-year-old man Tuesday, Nov. 2.

The South Milwaukee Police Department received a report of shots fired near 18th and Rawson Avenue just before 3 p.m.

Police located the victim suffering a gunshot wound to the leg. He was taken to the hospital by South Milwaukee Fire Department personnel with non-life threatening injuries.

A 22-year-old woman was taken into custody.
