Sponsor bees at the Milwaukee County Zoo during 'No Mow May' 🐝

Zoological Society of Milwaukee

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The Zoological Society of Milwaukee is offering a new opportunity to get involved during No Mow May.

The No Mow May movement encourages people to hold off on mowing their lawns, raking up leaves and cleaning up gardens to protect important pollinators, like bumblebees, during the month of May.

New this year, the Milwaukee County Zoo will offer the chance for people to sponsor the bees at the zoo.

The sponsorship is $50. In return, they'll receive a plush bee, an activity sheet, pollinator-friendly plant seeds and more.
