State Fair attendance breaks record, tops one million for 6th straight year

WEST ALLIS, Wis. (CBS 58) – Wisconsin State Fair officials say the 2018 festival was a success.
1,037,982 people visited the fair this year breaking past attendance records.
According to officials, 2018 marked the State Fair’s 167th year and the 50th anniversaries of the Giant Slide, State Fair Park Mounted Police and Kids from Wisconsin.
During the 10-day festival, more than 90,000 rides were taken on the WonderFair Wheel and fairgoers enjoyed nearly 400,000 cream puffs.
