Dry start to the new work week before rain and snow chances return
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Students at Granville Lutheran School in Milwaukee were welcomed back to school in style Monday morning.
Parents, teachers, and staff rolled out the red carpet for the 260 students on their first day back.
The school's principal says they want to start every day of the school year with a smile.
"It's awesome to just see kids be excited and smile so we want our kids to start with that great smile every day so that when they walk into the building, whatever happened outside of here, they can just let that go and just enjoy their day at school," said Granville Lutheran principal Trenae Howard.
