Thanksgiving meal costs decline slightly compared to last year,...
WISCONSIN (CBS 58) -- It's a Thanksgiving tradition 26 years in the making -- the Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin "Stuff the Bus" event.
The goal is pretty simple -- stuff the bus with food.
People are asked to bring non-perishable food items to the Pick n Save on 27th Street in Oak Creek.
You can also just buy grocery items at that Pick n Save and donate them to the bus parked in front of the store.
This year's goal is to raise 100,000 healthy meals through food and monetary donations.
"The holidays are a really special time to -- as an individual and a community -- to give back," said Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin events manager Jessecca Miller.
The Stuff the Bus event runs until 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22.
If you can't make the trip but still want to help, you can donate money online. Click the link here.
