MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) — Summerfest organizers are celebrating another successful year after welcoming more than 613,000 fans to Milwaukee's lakefront over the festival's three weekends.

According to festival officials, Summerfest 2026 drew 613,475 attendees, including nearly half of all ticket purchasers traveling from outside Wisconsin.

The festival featured three sold-out headlining performances from Ed Sheeran, Post Malone and Megan Moroney, while also welcoming its first regional Mexican headliner, Carín León.

In all, Summerfest hosted 600 performers, including 176 artists making their festival debut.

"Summerfest is proud to be an independent music festival that celebrated the very best of live music, unforgettable fan experiences, and meaningful community impact," said Sarah Pancheri, president and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. "Seeing hundreds of thousands of fans come together and make lasting memories is what Summerfest is all about."

Organizers also highlighted the festival's community impact in 2026, including:

• 38,400 meals donated to Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin, Northcott Neighborhood House and Hunger Task Force
• 18,257 diapers and 67,193 wipes collected for United Way of Greater Milwaukee & Waukesha County's Diaper Bank Network
• 4,241 children's books donated to Next Door
• More than 7,000 hygiene and school supply items collected for the Boys & Girls Club of Kenosha
• Nearly 3,000 blood donations benefiting Versiti Donor Centers

Officials also said the festival employed more than 2,100 seasonal workers, featured 43 local food and beverage vendors and partnered with more than 600 sponsors, donors, exhibitors and organizations.

Summerfest 2027 is scheduled for June 24-26, July 1-3 and July 8-10. Organizers say the adjusted dates help keep Summerfest and Milwaukee's cultural festivals aligned with their traditional timeframes while continuing to support the city's Juneteenth celebrations.

Fans can expect the first 2027 American Family Insurance Amphitheater concert announcements in the coming months.
