(CEDAR GROVE) Horses have an amazing ability to mirror the behaviors and emotions around them, including those of humans. This equine empathy is one reason more and more people are discovering the benefits of therapeutic riding.
On CBS 58 Sunday Morning, Mike Strehlow visited Heavens Gait Ranch in Cedar Grove. The non-profit opened its doors in 2016 offering their services and horses to anyone who might benefit from therapeutic riding including children with disabilities and veterans struggling with PTSD.
