Sunshine returns today, but temps stay below normal for early August

Tuesday felt a lot like an early taste of fall instead of early August with the clouds, drizzle, and blustery NE wind, but extremely pleasant summer weather returns today with sunshine and highs in the mid 70s!

Temps warm a bit closer to normal on Thursday with highs near 80°, but cooler weather returns Friday into the weekend behind Thursday's cold front.

The cold front will push through Thursday afternoon, but for most of us we'll stay dry. There's only a small chance of a shower with this front, mainly north of Milwaukee. 

The wind will turn blustery behind this front once again on Friday with gusts around 25 mph in the afternoon. 

Temps remain in the 70s through the weekend into early next week, but temps are trending warmer for the middle of August.
