MCTS spring service changes to shorten 5 routes
It's SO nice to finally have a stretch of three days in a row of sunny and dry weather. Tons of sunshine is expected today with highs in the upper 60s to low 70s inland.
Friday's sunshine will be filtered by thin clouds, but that won't prevent temps from warming into the upper 70s. Those clouds will be moving in ahead of a low pressure system that'll bring a chance of rain back to SE WI on Saturday.
This little break from the rain is much needed. Milwaukee is experiencing its 3rd wettest spring to date and is running nearly six and a half inches above normal since the beginning of March.
The one good thing that's come from all of this rain - most of the Upper Midwest is no longer in a drought! Besides a sliver of Iron county, the rest of the state and region is drought-free. Here's the change in drought status over the last three months.
Additional showers and storms will return early next week. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather App to see the full 7 day forecast.
