Suspect arrested in Whitefish Bay after attempting to break into home

WHITEFISH BAY, Wis. (CBS 58) -- One person was arrested after attempting to break into a home in Whitefish Bay.
It happened shortly after 7 a.m. on Saturday in the 100 block of W. Henry Clay.
According to police, the homeowner confronted someone who was attempting to break into his home through a side door.
The suspect fled the scene on foot when confronted.
He was taken into custody a short distance away.
Formal charges are pending.
