MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- A suspect is in custody following an early Friday, Jan. 31 fire near the area of 14th and State.

Marquette University police say they responded to the fire early Friday to a residential building. All residents were evacuated, according to officials.

One of the residents is being treated at a local hospital due to injuries related to the fire.

MUPD says they are working with the Milwaukee Fire Department to determine the cause of the fire and noted that there is no ongoing threat to the community. No information has yet been released about the suspect who was taken into custody by police.
