Suspect flees suspected stolen car after crashing into pole following a robbery

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- The vehicle involved in the car crash with a pole early Tuesday was located unoccupied and was determined to have been taken in a robbery.

Milwaukee police continue to seek an unknown suspect.

MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Milwaukee police are investigating a car crash into a pole early Tuesday, Feb. 21 around 1:06 a.m. near Stark and Green Bay.

According to police, the person or persons in the car fled the scene after the crash.

We Energies told CBS 58 that the crash brought down power lines and 46 customers lost power for about two hours. Power is currently being restored.

The police investigation is ongoing.
