Suspects Still on the Loose After Robbing 66-Year-Old & Shooting 28-Year-Old

Milwaukee Police have arrested one suspect and are seeking others in a related armed robbery and shooting that happened around 10:15 AM on Tuesday, November 10. A 66-year-old man was robbed of his cell phone and other belongings at gunpoint in the 800 block of North 25th Street by several suspects inside a white vehicle.

The suspects inside that vehicle then went to the 800 block of North 28th Street and shot a 28-year-old Milwaukee man. That victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Officers from District Three quickly located the white vehicle and initiated a pursuit. Several suspects fled from the car near 35th and Galena and one of the suspects, a 22-year-old Milwaukee man who had the victim’s stolen cell phone, was taken into custody.

A shotgun was also found in the vehicle. MPD is still seeking the other suspects and will present the case against the arrested suspect in the coming days to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.
