Sweetgreen announces 2nd Wisconsin location in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, Wis. (CBS 58) -- Sweetgreen, the salad-centric eatery, is opening up a second location in Wisconsin on Tuesday, August 15.

The salad chain Sweetgreen, is set to open a second location in Wisconsin at The Corners of Brookfield. Every meal sold on opening day will donate a meal to the Food Pantry Serving Waukesha County to help individuals with food insecurity. A ribbon cutting ceremony will be held at 10:00 A.M. with the Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce.

To celebrate opening day Sweetgreen will be hosting a farmers market where participants will have the opportunity to fill up a Sweetgreen "swag" tote bag with produce from Midwest partners. The farmers market will also include floral bouquet giveaways and live music from a member of the Milwaukee Buck’s DJ crew, DJ Andre Wallace.

The new location is set to have hours from 10:30 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. daily.
