Telemundo Wisconsin launching 11 a.m. newscast starting June 4
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- Telemundo Wisconsin, WYTU, is expanding its commitment to local news coverage with the addition of an 11 a.m. Monday through Friday newscast.
Noticiero Telemundo Wisconsin at 11 a.m. premieres June 4 and will be anchored by Jocelyne Pruna. Pruna previously co-anchored the Telemundo Wisconsin 10 p.m. newscast and is an anchor/reporter for Telemundo Wisconsin and sister station CBS 58.
“We are excited to expand our news programming to better serve the local Spanish speaking community,” Telemundo Wisconsin News Director Kent Harrell said. “It’s our commitment to keep our viewers informed and engaged throughout the day.”
The 11 a.m. newscast will be followed at 11:30 a.m. with the Telemundo network newscast Noticias Telemundo Mediodia.

Telemundo Wisconsin currently produces the weeknight 10 p.m. newscast Noticiero Telemundo. The station also broadcasts several Milwaukee Brewers games and Green Bay Packers preseason matchups.
Telemundo Wisconsin is now being broadcast statewide on Dish Network channel 17, as well as Spectrum-Charter channel 206. Telemundo Wisconsin is broadcast locally on Spectrum-Time Warner channel 1027, AT&T U-Verse channel 27 and over the air channel 63.1.
