Temps feeling more like November after a very warm start to the month

Thursday was a day for the record books across southeast Wisconsin! Milwaukee warmed to 77°, breaking the daily record high for November 10th and tying the all-time November record high in the process! We also SMASHED the record warm low temperature for the date by 11 degrees!

Through the first ten days of the month, Milwaukee has been experiencing its second warmest start to November, only trailing behind the super warm start we had in 2020. Temps are currently running 12.1° above normal for November.

Our stretch of warm weather has come to an end after a strong cold front moved through SE WI last night. Temps are running 30-40° colder than this time yesterday and will struggle to reach the low 40s for the next several days.

We'll also likely experience our first freezing temperature this fall in Milwaukee tonight as temps drop into the upper 20s to low 30s.

In addition to the chilly temps, we'll also have a few flurries from time to time tonight and on Saturday. No accumulation will occur, so nothing to worry about! Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to see the full 7 day forecast.
