Southeast Wisconsin is finally receiving some much needed rainfall early this morning with .10-.10" of rain falling since Thursday evening.
The showers will taper off by 8am with more sunshine developing throughout the day. Highs will top out either side of 60° with wind gusts around 20 mph this afternoon.
Northwest winds will gust around 20 mph this afternoon and usher in cooler air for the start of the weekend. High temps on Saturday will be near average for this time of year in the mid 50s. Plenty of sunshine is expected all weekend, but warmer temps are expected Sunday thanks to winds turning to the southwest.
If your hometown is holding trick-or-treating this weekend, you won't have to worry about any rain or snow. Here's a list of local trick-or-treat times. Southerly winds will strengthen as we move into early next week, which will boost temps into the mid to upper 60s on Monday and mid to upper 70s Tuesday and Wednesday. Wind gusts may be near or stronger than 45 mph on Tuesday.
A few isolated showers are possible with a warm front passing through Monday night, otherwise a larger system will bring a better chance of rain next Wednesday into Halloween. Download the CBS 58 Ready Weather app to see the full forecast.
