Texas Voter ID

A small group of Texas voters camped out before early voting started in that state today. Texas was the subject of a Supreme Court decision that is of special interest here in Wisconsin. The Justices allowed election officials in the Lone Star State to enforce a Voter ID Law that is opposed by Civil Rights Groups. Last week it put Wisconsin's Voter ID Law on hold. The High Court ruled that it was too close to the election here in Wisconsin to change the requirement for voters.
