Milwaukee County Zoo announces groundbreaking of new rhino exhibit
MILWAUKEE (CBS 58) -- You soon may have to take your temperature to go into businesses.
Faith Technologies has a new thermal imager. It can take the temperature of up to 16 people in under a second, with accuracy to one-half degree.
Similar tools could be used to allow plants, hospitals and even concerns open sooner
They've already been used in plants across the state.
Faith Technologies offers a full-service solution from hardware selection to installation. The technology allows facilities to help protect the health and safety of employees and visitors:
- It provides temperature results in less than one second, is accurate to one-half degree and can scan up to 16 people at one time.
- Once set up, the technology operates independently, limiting exposure to those entering the building and allowing better use of staff resources.
- Instant notifications of elevated temperatures are sent to those who monitor the system’s output and/or others as designated.
